Top rack dishwasher safe. Safe for boiling and steam
sterilizing. Safe for all ages.
Assembly: Before each use, hold
the tip of the valve (triangular

proper venting. When assembling
your LATCH bottle, first push the
valve firmly through the hole at
the bottom of the bottle. Make

sure that the triangular head of the valve is fully inserted.
A fully inserted valve will have a visible gap between the
bottom edge of the triangular head against the hole
opening at the bottom of the bottle. You may not always
see a gap unless you apply upward pressure with your
thumb, as you inspect. (see Figure 1)
Cleaning and Maintenance: Carefully disassemble
the bottle. To remove the valve from the bottom of
the bottle, grasp any portion of the circular
flange/disc and pull outward until loose. Wash and
rinse each piece separately and thoroughly. Carefully
clean valve to avoid tearing. Sterilize using a sterilizer
or boil for 5 minutes. All components are top rack
dishwasher safe. Use dishwasher basket to secure
components during wash and dry cycles.

Next, pull the nipple through the collar, ensuring that the
flanges are tucked underneath. It is easier to assemble if you
pull the nipple back and forth upwards, instead of pulling it
up straight. Make sure the 3rd segment under the accordion
is resting above the collar. The area where the nipple and
collar meet should be flush (no gap). (see Figure 2)
